Beating temptation: Part 2

With the holiday season, there are tons of things all around to tempt us. Sometimes it’s hard to keep up with your health when there is so much great food everywhere during the holidays. We don’t want to feel like we are not participating in the fun, but at the same time, we want to find time to keep up with our routines. 

Have splurges when you can; it’s good for you. For example, during Thanksgiving, don’t be shy to eat… just enjoy yourselves. Perhaps you should consider hitting the gym and working out hard the morning before. Not only will a hard workout help you with the bad eating during the big day, but you’ll also feel better about it.

The key to temptation is not to ignore it, but to allow yourself to have a treat from time to time. Just remember, when you do give into that treat, go to the gym and work out a little harder to keep yourself in shape and in line. You can indulge every now and then, just don’t go overboard.

Have a wonderful holiday and enjoy yourself! And don’t stress out when you mess up.
